Australia: Photo Tour

Australia is one of the most underrated tours for bird photography in the world. The light is usually good, the birds are generally easy to photograph, and these often come in gaudy colors too! Australia is home to many interesting bird groups, like emu, cassowary, bowerbirds, fairywrens, honeyeaters, Australasian Robins, monarchs, butcherbirds, whistlers, and lots and lots of parrots, from large cockatoos to slender lorikeets. We will be on the trail of all of these, but also other wildlife too; Australia is a land of strange mammals, like kangaroos, wallabies, possums, and echidnas, and we will be seeking to photograph them also. We expect to photograph hundreds of species on this trip Down Under.
